All-American Girl

by admin

Based around the stand-up routines of comedian Margaret Cho, this series looked at the culture clashes that occurred between a traditional Korean mother and her fully Americanized daughter. “All-American Girl” was the first network sitcom to feature a predominantly Asian American cast. Cho played Margaret Kim, a college student living at home with her mom and dad (Jodi Long and Clyde Kusatsu), older brother (B.D. Wong) and grandmother (Amy Hill).
